International Spiritual Sciences Center - Ajmer

Located near the holy shrine of Khwaja Shareef in the by-lanes of Old Ajmer, this building intents to create a collaborative space for visitors and reasearcher to the dargah on the subject of Sufism. The building is 5 storeys high with ground floor having reception, souvenir shops and admin spaces, first floor and second floor having rooms for the visitors while upper floors have library, research center, meditation room, auditorium and rooftop café cum restaurant.

The building will be constructed in exposed brick work with arches and lattice pattern windows on the balconies of the rooms. The site being located in a highly dense area, the design intents to give green areas on each floor of the building by creating various terraces. The entrance to the building is also a double height entrance adding to the grandeur of the building. The design perfectly respects the values of Islam and its architecture making a perfect blend of contemporary and the bygone.
